About Us

Jones Scones is a story of two cultures, one family, and a shared love for good food.

We’re Andrew and Rin Jones. We first met in 2012, married in 2017, and together built a life that bridges Cornwall and Thailand. Andrew grew up in Cornwall, where scones are more than just a bake — they’re part of everyday life, tradition, and hospitality. Rin brings a deep connection to Thailand and its strong sense of community, which has shaped how Jones Scones has grown.

What began in our home kitchen quickly became something bigger. We started by testing our homemade scones with Rin’s work colleagues, refining the recipe through real feedback and shared moments over tea. The response was overwhelmingly positive, leading us to provide scones at local community groups and small business events, marking an important step in establishing Jones Scones in Thailand.

Jones Scones was born from a simple idea: bringing an authentic taste of Cornwall to Thailand. The name itself comes from Andrew’s surname — Jones — naturally rhyming with scones, and proudly representing the original Cornish-inspired recipe we set out to share.

Our mission is simple: to bring authentic Cornish scones to Thailand, made with care, tradition, and quality ingredients.

We believe great food should tell a story. Every scone we bake is homemade, carefully prepared, and rooted in British baking traditions, while being shared within Thailand’s vibrant and welcoming community. We aim to create more than just a product — we want to create moments of comfort, connection, and a genuine taste of Cornwall, wherever our scones are enjoyed.

As a small family-run business, we focus on quality over quantity, ensuring every batch reflects the standards and flavours you’d expect from a traditional Cornish kitchen.
