Perishable Food Products

Due to the perishable nature of our products, we do not accept returns once an order has been prepared, dispatched, or delivered.

Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be considered in the following circumstances:

  • Incorrect items were delivered.
  • Products arrived significantly damaged during delivery.
  • An order could not be fulfilled by Jones Scones.

To request a refund, customers must contact us within 24 hours of delivery and provide photographs of the products, packaging, and any damage where applicable.

Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be provided where:

  • The customer entered an incorrect or incomplete delivery address.
  • The recipient was unavailable to receive the order.
  • Delivery was successfully completed to the address provided.
  • Products were not stored according to any instructions provided.
  • The customer simply changed their mind after dispatch.
  • Delays occurred due to weather, traffic, road closures, accidents, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
  • The complaint relates solely to personal taste preferences.

Proof of Delivery

Delivery is considered complete once the order has been handed to:

  • The customer;
  • The named recipient;
  • Building reception staff;
  • Security personnel; or
  • Any person authorised to accept deliveries at the address provided.

Jones Scones may rely on delivery photographs, GPS records, courier confirmation, communication records, or other delivery evidence as proof of successful delivery.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be issued using the original payment method wherever possible.

Refund processing times may vary depending on the payment provider.
